13 Sep 09 Stage Makeup and Hairstyling Competition

The atmosphere at the stage makeup and hairstyling competition was filled with excitment. You can see the contestants taking out their props, costom and makeup kit. Really surprised by all their creactivity.

There was peacock design, bikini bride design, roller skate design etc. Really gorgeous. For me is beach seashell design.

I have been looking out for materials to make my own hair accessories for dinner, wedding photo shots etc. Not sure whether I can succeed a not. Will try out this weekend to see how is it. The hair accessories outside is so expensive. Cannot bear to buy them.

Roadshow at Vivocity

I was helping my school Prettybox at Vivocity. Providing free makeup to those who bought Sooke Jewellery. Maybe it was first day and on Thursday that's why nobody to makeup.

So basically we are playing with each other hair and makeup for each other. I was designed a korean style hair. Quite nice and sweet I think.

I had tried to put on fake eyelashes for 3 people. Ok not bad still could stick. There was a lady who is the owner of Thomson Bridal. My teacher Ponnie asked me to put on for her. I didn't know she was the owner. When I was putting on the fake eyelashes halfway I heard that she is the owner of Thomson Bridal. My hands started to tremble a bit. Oh no... As she was the owner she would have expectation for the artist. The way the artisit put on fake eyelashes. Whether it sticked a not etc. It really didn't stick during the first put on. Had to put on more glue. So I redo and it sticked in the end. Now go to another side. Luckily it sticked.

The whole afternoon was bored no customer for me to draw a full makeup on. So wait and wait till around 7pm. The first customer walked in. But I need to left the place for dinner somewhere. So left my schoolmate to help this korean lady to draw.
